I Won A Book in Alvin Phang’s Blog! :)

I participated in a contest conducted by Singapore’s famous internet blogger, Alvin Phang.

He conducted it in his famous blog, GatherSuccess.com and I won a GREAT book titled, “Secrets To Dominate Your Niche” through his contest.

hehehheh…I cant wait to lay my hands on the book

This book is authored by 2 experienced entrepreneurs, Mr Thomas Fernandez, CEO Of PestBusters Pte Ltd and Sant Qiu, a highly sought-after Profit Strategist.

I remembered during my school days in Ngee Ann Polytechnic, seeing Mr Thomas Fernandez, soooo…. animated and enthusiastic in sharing business ideas with the students.

…and when he came out with this book, I know instaneously, that, I need to get that book right away.

…and since Alvin is throwing out a contest in his blog, I think, hmmm, why not JUST PARTICIPATE?

The contest requirement goes this way.

We have to share with the rest of the blogging community on…

HOW we (in our profession) DIFFERENTIATE ourself from our competitors and HOW are WE going to USE THIS BOOK for our business.

Over 40 quality proposals were sent out, and I am glad my proposition is one of the chosen one.

“How do you differentiate yourself from your competitors ?

I am a financial associate from NTUC Income.

My USP for the mass, is that I have a financial blog, http://www.helmihakim.com

AND I am a proud author of a very POWERFUL e-book, “33 Ways To Save More Money in Singapore”, downloadable at http://www.helmihakim.com/savemoney/

This 2 elements served as a credibility catalyst, which makes me different than other financial advisers.

In addition to that, all my clients were also honoured and very privileged to be in my private mailing list, where they will receive candid and valuable financial information, NOT AVAILABLE TO PUBLIC, on a regular basis.

How are you going to use this book for your business?

My niche market for NOW are Singaporeans who browse the net, in search for quality financial instruments that can help them achieve their financial objectives.

The niche market which I like to go into is the higher net worth niche market.

As I am still new in this business (only 8 months), I will be definitely interested to know on how Thomas Fernandez, managed to clinche a coveted major contract with a well-known 5-star hotel in Singapore DESPITE being the “unproven” newcomer in the pest control industry.

I will be DIEING to know that one strategy and apply it in my business to reach out and speak to higher net worth clients.
