Today I am going to touch on the wonders of sleeping at home being FOCUS.

Everyday, in the midst of our daily life, we are presented with lots and lots of opportunities.

Some appeared to be boring and yet some too great to be missed!

Opportunities comes in different shapes and sizes ways. It comes from everywhere, whether you want it or not.

Before joining NTUC Income, I was presented with numerous opportunities.

I was offered for an admission interview with SMU for their business degree.

I was offered to be a property agent..

I was offered to be a motivational trainer.

I was offered to join my friends full time in their Multi Level Marketing..

I thank you for all the offers. Though I agree with all, that the ideas are great, pragmatic, “confirm good” , I strongly believe in choosing only ONE.

One choice that will determine my destiny.

One choice that I will passionately pursue for the rest of my life. I will build a name and leave a positive impact in the industry.

The choice that I will uphold with conscious dignity, pride and discipline, honour and utmost greatness with gracious and humble standing.

I choose to be a full time financial consultant with NTUC Income.

I am passionate to help people to sort out their finances. I enjoyed talking to people. I love doing campaigns in a team.

To me doing all that, equivalent to not working. I “play” 24 hours a day,7 times a week. I enjoy my work so much that I don’t consider my work as “work” anymore.

I enjoyed every minute, every second of my work. I am learning new things now and then.

Isn’t that wonderful, when you woke every morning, smiling, enthusiastic of what lies ahead?

Isn’t it wonderful, to know people who have the same mindset, same mentality as you?

and back to the main topic on Being Focus, I strongly believe that you can be successful in any industry only if you are totally focus in what you are doing.

You focus your energy in what you LOVE doing.

If you want to be a property agent, make sure you focus your energy on just properties.

If you want to be a motivational trainer, make sure you focus your energy, effort on personal development.

If you want to be in MLM, make sure you focus your energy on helping people with the health supplements that they need.

For me, as a financial consultant, I will focus my energy on helping clients to sort out their financial needs and recommend suitable solutions.

Its my obligation!

I wont be doing properties, MLM or motivational trainings part time.

I will devote my attention to pure financial consulting for my clients. Yes…That’s it…

I believe, to provide the best service to my client, I cant deviate myself with other opportunities.

I believe, to be the best in the industry, I have to be totally focus like a laser beam honing over its target.

However, does that mean that you have to shut the doors off to all the opportunities that came knocking on your door?

Nope…Not at all…

You can grab these opportunities only if they are in sync with what you are doing. If these opportunities bring you closer to your primary goal, grab it.

Example, if anyone seeks to do a link exchange with my finance blog, I will grab the opportunity as it enable more “targetted” traffic, exposure to my informative blog..

If anyone seeks a joint venture with me to produce something worthwhile for the public, I will grab it as I will do anything that can benefit the mass on my expertise.

Example-

1) Writing a report on finance, insurance and life

2) Producing audio programs to educate the public on the importance of savings, insurance etc.

Actually there is a lot more, and I will keep it as a secret for now

Conversely, if someone proposed to me something opposite, counter to what I am passionately doing now, I cant accept that very offer.

So friends, I hope you understand my standing here. I am not pushing away opportunities. Instead I am choosing one that is in sync with my primary goal and expertise.

I truly believe that being focus in your passion, is the only way, you can succeed in the field of endeavour you loved most!
